Northerntransvaalcycads is based in Tolwe, a small community north west of Polokwane in Limpopo, South Africa. It began in 2017 when a good friend gave me 5 cycad seedlings. Since then, I never looked back, and our collection has grown to more than 3000 plants. First, we applied for our Tops registration (National) so we could propagate our own plants. We are one of 5 nurseries currently in South Africa that is Cites registered for export to other countries

It is our mission to save these beautiful plants, and to supply them to as many people possible, in order to keep them from going extinct. We have a great passion for all kinds of Cycads, and it’s a great honor for us to play a role to prevent extinction.
History Of Us
In 2017, a great friend of mine gave me 5 seedlings after explaining the importance of saving these plants. Since then, I never looked back, and our collection grown from 5 seedlings to more than 3000 plants. First we applied for our Tops registration (national), so we could propagate our own plants. Today we are Cites registered, and export to countries across the globe!
